Americas Express Inn Rocky Mount

If you're a budget hotel frequenter like I am, don't be afraid to step outside the "big chain" norm for this one. I was a little hesitant to stay in an unknown place, but the local chains had such bad reviews that I chose this one. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and there was a full sized fridge and microwave. The bathroom was nicely renovated and the shower pounded me like...I mean the shower was as hot as lava. Seriously, I wish I had that shower at home. I've always thought hotel carpet was kind of gross, and this one has clean hardwoods. So maybe pack some socks if your tootsies get cold.

Things I was very impressed by. Car charging spots, Remote control AC, medium size frig, the shower and very quiet. I only stayed one night but for the price this place is great. Only down fall is the room is a little small that most hotels. I was only there one night. Beds are comfortable as well

So this place had us worried at first but the front desk lady was sooo sweet. The rooms are being updated, bathroom was brand new, they have a full size fridge tv had plenty of channels to pick from.seperate smoking and non-smoking areas so room didn't smell like smoke at all.

We didn’t see any breakfast, or wasn’t told about any breakfast, it was clean for the most part.

I love the glass like walls and the bathrooms are gorgeous 😍 I like how nice the staff are and they are very helpful and on point with their work....I like how they took effort into making sure I had a nice clean comfortable room and lol they made it known the are one call away....wasn't what I expected the outside of the building and halls to look like like but the rooms got me....I'll be back for another weekend stay.
